- Hiking Pangaion mountain
Description : Hiking on the peak of Pangaion mountain. It is a mountain range in Greece, approximately 40 km from Kavala. The highest elevation is 1,956 m at the peak of Koutra. The Aegean Sea lies to the south and the plains of Philippi-Kavala to the north. The mountain range covers the southeastern portion of the Serres regional unit as well as the northwestern part of the Kavala regional unit which includes the bigger part of the mountain. Gold mines and timber greatly developed economic activity and thus became the site of several disputes and wars over the centuries. The natural fortified position of Amphipolis as well as the well-hidden natural port of Strymonas contributed to this! As much as it has a rich history, it also has a rich view! Climbing higher and higher the view becomes more beautiful and if you climb to the top it is simply amazing! If you take a round look when you are on top of Avgo at about 1930 meters, from East to West, then you admire the majesty of nature! Rhodopes, Mount Falakro, springs of Aggitis, plain of dried lake Prasias, Mount Menoikio, historical Kerdyllia, Athos peak of Halkidiki, islands of Thassos, Lemnos, Samothraki, North Aegean, city of Kavala, Porto Lagos and others are what you will spot! Location : Pangeo Forest Village, W6C7+J7 Ελευθερούπολη Distance from Athens : 630 km ~ 7 hours driving. Total activity duration : 5 hours Minimum attendance : 4 participants What's included : -Expert English speaking guides. -All local transfers. - Rafting Aggitis river
Description : Rafting Aggitis river is a unique experience ! It is a river in Northern Greece, 75 km long and an important tributary of the Strymonas river. Its source is in the Falakro mountains, in the regional unit of Drama, near the town of Prosotsani. 6 km of amazing route, all in a canyon with good water flow and two passages of third degree of difficulty will justify us for the choice. The rocks on the right and left are over 100 meters high. The birds accompany us along the entire length of the river. Herons, ducks, hawks, owls, otters, water turtles are the main patrons who show us the way and more! The flora between the rocks is impressive! If all this is not enough, then we will experience something different. Visit by boat or on foot (depending on the water level) to Persephone's cave! This is where history meets mythology. From this cave Persephone passed into Hades. After 400 meters we taste the water from its source in total darkness! We return and continue the descent. We're not done, we go back to base and show off our archery skills. Location : Symboli Serron, 22HM+MG Συμβολή Distance from Athens : 630 km ~ 6,5 hours driving.
