​Terms and Conditions - Athens Extreme Sports

These Terms and Conditions govern your booking and participation in all tours and activities with Athens Extreme Sports ("we," "us," "our"). By booking with us, you ("the client," "the participant") agree to these terms.

 

1. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once you receive a final itinerary from us with the specific dates, services and total price. To secure your spot, a deposit of 20% of the total cost is required. The remaining balance must be paid in full, prior to the activity date, as specified in your booking confirmation.

 

2. Cancellations by You (The Client)

We understand plans can change. Refunds for cancellations you make are processed as follows:

• More than 16 days before the activity: Full refund.

• 6 to 15 days before the activity: 50% refund.

• Less than 5 days before the activity, or no-show: No refund.

 

3. Cancellations & Changes by Us

• For Safety & Operational Reasons: We reserve the right to alter or cancel any activity due to unsafe weather, insufficient bookings, or other unforeseen safety or operational reasons. In this event, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

• For Client-Requested Changes: Any changes you request to a confirmed booking (date, destination, group size) may be subject to availability and additional fees.

 

4. Your Responsibilities During the Activity

For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, all participants must:

• Follow all instructions from our guides and staff at all times.

• Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Disclose any relevant health conditions.

• Behave in a manner that does not endanger themselves or others.

We reserve the right to remove any participant from an activity without refund for failure to comply with these rules, safety regulations, or for engaging in illegal activity.

 

5. Assumption of Risk, Liability & Insurance

A. Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that outdoor adventure activities (hiking, diving, climbing, etc.) carry inherent risks of injury, illness, or property damage. By participating, you voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with these activities.

B. Liability Waiver: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge Athens Extreme Sports, its employees, guides and partners from any liability for claims, damages, or injuries arising from your participation, except those arising from our proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.

C. Medical & Other Costs: You are responsible for all personal medical-related expenses incurred during an activity. We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance, including coverage for adventure sports.

 

6. Media Release

We often take photos and videos during our activities for promotional use. By participating, you grant us permission to use your image. If you do not wish to be featured, you must inform us in writing before the activity begins.

7. General Provisions

• Complaints: Any complaint must be submitted to us in writing within 7 working days of the activity's completion for review.

• Extra Costs: Any expenses not explicitly included in your tour description are your responsibility.

• Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by Greek law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
