Description : Take a relaxing tour to the fascinating town of ancient Corinth and visit the famous temple dedicated to god Apollo. Take pictures of the breathtaking views of Corinth Canal which connect the Aegean Sea and the Ionian Sea. We will pick up from your hotels and drive along the coastal road heading west and the Corinth Canal which separates Attica and Peloponesse. Short stop for photos and afterwards we drive to ancient Corinth. Next stop the archaeological site of Ancient Corinth, the temple of Apollo and ancient Agora. We will continue to the archaeological museum and the spot where St Paul preached and wrote his letters addressed to Corinthians. Just an hour trip from the city of Athens, we will pass through the famous Corinth Canal (short stop) which connects the Saronic to the Corinthian Gulf and literally divides mainland Greece from the Peloponnese. Leaving behind the Corinth Canal and after 1 hour of driving, we will enter the region of Argolis, land of Homer’s Golden Mycenae, a UNESCO’S World Heritage site and arrive uphill to visit the archaeological site, home of the mythical king Agamemnon. We will continue to Epidaurus and visit the breathtaking ancient theater. Have a unique opportunity to hear all about the history of the 4th century unique UNESCO’S World Heritage Highlight and one of the best preserved classical Greek theaters, still used today due to its amazing acoustics. Leaving behind the Peloponnese we will take the road back to Athens. This tour will end late in the afternoon by dropping you off at your hotel or apartment.
