Cancellation Fees -In case of no show of a client in a tour, the company reserves the right to keep the whole paid amount. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 20 days before the tour, the company will keep 30% of the deposit. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 10 days before the tour, the company will keep 50% of the deposit. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 5 days before the tour, the company will keep 100% of the deposit. Alterations/Cancellations from the company. The company reserves the right to cancel a planned trip for safety reasons due to adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. In that case, a full refund will be given. The company and the leaders may suggest an alternative tour or activity accordingly. Most of our participants are first-time climbers. Our instructors specialize in teaching fundamentals and will have you safely climbing within 30 minutes. Q: What's the minimum and maximum age for participants? A: Minimum age is 10 years old (with parental consent). There's no maximum age – we've had participants in their 70s! Good general health is more important than age. Q: Is rock climbing dangerous? A: When conducted with proper equipment, instruction, and supervision, rock climbing is very safe. You're always attached to a rope managed by certified instructors. Our safety record is excellent. Q: What if I'm afraid of heights? A: Mild apprehension is normal and most people overcome it quickly once climbing. However, severe vertigo may make climbing uncomfortable. Start low and progress gradually. Q: Do I need to be strong or athletic? A: Not at all! Climbing is more about technique, balance, and problem-solving than pure strength. Many beginners are surprised how accessible it is. Q: What happens if it rains? A: Rock climbing requires dry conditions for safety. We'll reschedule your tour or offer a full refund if weather prevents climbing. Q: Why isn't climbing available in July and August? A: Summer extreme heat makes climbing unsafe and uncomfortable. Additionally, wildfire risk is high on Athens mountains during peak summer. Can I climb with my own equipment? A: Yes, experienced climbers are welcome to use personal gear. However, we still require our ropes and safety systems
