Description : Hiking on the peak of Pangaion mountain. It is a mountain range in Greece, approximately 40 km from Kavala. The highest elevation is 1,956 m at the peak of Koutra. The Aegean Sea lies to the south and the plains of Philippi-Kavala to the north. The mountain range covers the southeastern portion of the Serres regional unit as well as the northwestern part of the Kavala regional unit which includes the bigger part of the mountain. Gold mines and timber greatly developed economic activity and thus became the site of several disputes and wars over the centuries. The natural fortified position of Amphipolis as well as the well-hidden natural port of Strymonas contributed to this! As much as it has a rich history, it also has a rich view! Climbing higher and higher the view becomes more beautiful and if you climb to the top it is simply amazing! If you take a round look when you are on top of Avgo at about 1930 meters, from East to West, then you admire the majesty of nature! Rhodopes, Mount Falakro, springs of Aggitis, plain of dried lake Prasias, Mount Menoikio, historical Kerdyllia, Athos peak of Halkidiki, islands of Thassos, Lemnos, Samothraki, North Aegean, city of Kavala, Porto Lagos and others are what you will spot! Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Fees -In case of no show of a client in a tour the Company reserves the right to keep the whole paid amount. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 20 days before the tour the company will keep 30% of the deposit. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 10 days before the tour the company will keep 50% of the deposit. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 5 days before the tour the company will keep 100% of the deposit. Alterations/Cancellations from the company. The company reserves the right to cancel a planned trip for safety reasons due to bad weather conditions or other unpredictable reason. In that case full refund will be given. The company and the leaders may suggest an alternative tour or activity accordingly.
