Learn about regulators, buoyancy control devices, masks, fins, and how everything works together to create your underwater breathing system. Understand basic diving physics, hand signals and underwater communication. Part 2: Confined Water Skills (Shallow Water) Practice fundamental diving skills in safe, shallow waters under close supervision. Build confidence through repetition in a controlled environment before progressing to open water. Cancellation Fees -In case of no show of a client in a tour the company reserves the right to keep the whole paid amount. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 20 days before the tour the company will keep 30% of the deposit. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 10 days before the tour the company will keep 50% of the deposit. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 5 days before the tour the company will keep 100% of the deposit. Alterations/Cancellations from the company. The company reserves the right to cancel a planned trip for safety reasons due to bad weather conditions or other unpredictable reason. In that case full refund will be given. The company and the leaders may suggest an alternative tour or activity accordingly. You don't need to be an Olympic swimmer, just comfortable in water. Q: Is this a full PADI certification? A: No, this is an introductory experience. For full certification, you'd need the complete PADI Open Water Diver course. Q: Can my 10-year-old child participate? A: Yes! Children 10 years and older can participate with parental consent and supervision. Q: What if I'm afraid of deep water? A: You start in shallow confined water before progressing to open water. Instructors help you build confidence gradually. Q: How deep will I dive? A: Maximum depth is 12 meters (40 feet) for Discover Scuba Diving experiences. Q: What happens if I panic underwater? A: Instructors are trained to handle anxiety. All skills are practiced first in shallow water. Q: Do I need my own equipment? A: No! All scuba gear is provided including wetsuit, mask, fins, regulator and tank. Q: How long does the course take? A: Approximately half a day including theory, pool practice, and open water dive. Q: What marine life will I see? A: Mediterranean fish species, octopuses, sea urchins, starfish and various colorful reef creatures. Q: Can I continue to full PADI certification? A: Absolutely! This experience can credit toward your PADI Open Water Diver certification.
