A Unique Horse Experience

Service Description

Our farm is located in Marathon and is a place for education, therapy and personal development, combining elements of Horsemanship, Psychotherapy and Homeopathy. We aim to keep the living conditions of the horses as close to their nature as possible, while their veterinary care is done with holistic treatments and other natural methods. The program is offered to individuals and groups, children, adults and people with special needs. The activities that take place are chosen based on both the number and the age of the participants, as well as the spontaneous behaviour of our partners – the horses. Horses can give us much more than just a ride on their back. They are creatures that each one has its own personality, experiences, insecurities and preferences. Their special nature makes them excellent connoisseurs and users of body language, which gives them the ability to “read” our emotions and behaviour and respond to them according to their unique temperament. The participants of our program will gain a lot of knowledge about the horse’s lifestyle, way of thinking, behaviour, their non – violent training, as well as their physical and emotional needs. The journey begins by entering the animal’s space, where there is no protocol. Horses are free to choose whom to approach and this is not a random choice at all: our energy, who we are, what we feel, our “weak” points and many other elements, will be the ones that will play a decisive role in the choice of the connection and its quality. On a second level, participants will be able to observe the herd dynamics. In every horse group there is a hierarchy. The leader of the herd is the one who sets the pace of the journey. Beyond the theoretical knowledge, on a practical level, the participants will come close to free horses. Our horses are “untrained” to behave in a certain way and rules – they are free to approach or not, to accept the touch or not. They have the choice to show their feelings, their preferences, to accept or to refuse. At this point we can touch them, scratch them, and ask them to follow us or guide them with our body language to another area. We can also learn how to invite them to come close to us, ask them to run or move away if we feel unsafe. The program we provide is extremely beneficial for children and adults who are afraid of animals, or had a negative experience with animals and wish to live a restorative experience. - Important note This seminar is a non riding programme

Cancellation Policy

-In case of no show of a client in a tour the Company reserves the right to keep the whole paid amount. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 20 days before the tour the company will keep 30% of the deposit. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 10 days before the tour the company will keep 50% of the deposit. -In case the client requests cancellation more than 5 days before the tour the company will keep 100% of the deposit. General Terms : Extreme sports and outdoor activities are subject to weather condition. We will send you the contact details of the instructor and the exact meeting point for each activity booked as soon as we confirm availability. Activities and tours with a minimum participation number can be cancelled if this number is not filled or rescheduled for another date according to availability. The company reserves the right to cancel a planned trip or activity for safety reasons due to bad weather conditions or other unpredictable reason. In that case full refund will be given.
