Description : Rafting Aggitis river is a unique experience ! It is a river in Northern Greece, 75 km long and an important tributary of the Strymonas river. Its source is in the Falakro mountains, in the regional unit of Drama, near the town of Prosotsani. 6 km of amazing route, all in a canyon with good water flow and two passages of third degree of difficulty will justify us for the choice. The rocks on the right and left are over 100 meters high. The birds accompany us along the entire length of the river. Herons, ducks, hawks, owls, otters, water turtles are the main patrons who show us the way and more! The flora between the rocks is impressive! If all this is not enough, then we will experience something different. Visit by boat or on foot (depending on the water level) to Persephone's cave! This is where history meets mythology. From this cave Persephone passed into Hades. After 400 meters we taste the water from its source in total darkness! We return and continue the descent. Via Ferrata is a climbing route which is equipped with permanent materials such as wire ropes, metal steps, bridges, etc. The path we will follow is called Lagrota and starts from the monastery of Kleiston at Fyli area which is located in an imposing position and in an altitude of 600m. The Via Ferrata route takes you over the Goura gorge, with a breathtaking view from above. Our route, between oaks, firs and pines is in a breathtaking landscape. Nature captivates you and leads you on an incredible excursion just 1 hour from Athens. Our exciting Parnitha Via Ferrata program starts with a 40 minute hike to the entrance of the Lagrota route.
